Well, I started working with windows 7 and Oracle this last week. My initial impression is that the Vista database and client install just fine under Windows 7. I had to make a few changes to the 10g client installation to tell Oracle it was compatible with the latest version of Windows, but after that installation went without a hitch. The Oracle 11 installation let me manually verify the Windows version as part of the prerequisites check.
